GED CLASSES  (open ended registration)

A series of sessions designed to prepare adult learners (18yrs and up) for the GED test by covering all necessary subjects, including Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies.  In addition, computer training, critical thinking, and career counseling will be provided to support your success.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday    6:00pm - 8:00pm  (download registration forms below)

Note: there are no classes on days when public schools are closed
                        
Cost : $5 per module

November 14th  Introduction to Fractions

November 15th  Algebra

November 16th  Calculator Functions 14 & 15 (Casio Fx 260 calculator needed for this class)

November 28th 29th & 30th  Mastering the GED Social Studies Test

December 5th & 6th   Geometry

Seminar December 7th   Opening a New Business in Philadelphia

December 12th through the 14th   Calculator functions 16 through 20 (Casio Fx 260 calculator needed for this class)

December 19th & 20th   Mastering the GED Science

(The 2012 GED class schedule that begins in January will be posted in November)


ADULT BASIC EDUCATION TUTORING

One-on-one and small group tutoring in reading, writing, and math

Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays   6-7:30pm 

Open Registration with interview prior to assignment of tutor
 


COMPUTER CLASSES

Beginning Class

Schedule: Tuesdays 6:00 - 8:00pm
Program Fee: $25
